SHIPPING
We ship nationwide across South Africa via Courier Guy. We know that shipping can be stressful and inaccessible, so we strive to be flexible where possible.
Order Processing Times
As a one-dyke studio balancing a full-time job and chronic illness, orders are processed within 5-7 business days. We aim to ship every Saturday, but please allow up to 7 days for your order to be shipped.
Shipping Options
Enjoy free standard shipping on all orders over R500.
We ship nationwide with Courier Guy and offer a local pickup option, by arrangement, for Cape Town based folks.
You will receive your tracking details via email once your order is on its way.
• Standard Door-to-Door | R70: Delivered to your physical address.
• Express Door-to-Door | R120: Faster delivery to your physical address.
• Locker Delivery | R70: Delivered to a Courier Guy Pudo Locker near you.
• Local Pickup | Kirstenhof, Cape Town | FREE: Select 'Local Pickup - Kirstenhof' at checkout. We will email you within 24 hours to arrange a specific time slot for collection.
Please Note for Locker Delivery: Select 'Locker Delivery’ at checkout. We will confirm the specific locker location via email after purchase. This is often the safest and most convenient option for those who work during the day.
Please note for Local Pickup: Pickup times are limited due to my capacity. Please be patient while we coordinate a time that works for both of us.
Once an order is handed over to the courier, we cannot take responsibility for lost or delayed packages. However, if you experience any issues with delivery, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to assist you in resolving it with the courier.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Because Pulp & Thread is a small, one-dyke operation built with salvaged materials and limited capacity, we cannot offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind.
Please check all product photos, descriptions, and sizing details carefully before purchasing.

If Something Goes Wrong
We stand by the quality of our work. If you receive the wrong item, or if your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Email us at hello@pulpandthread.co.za within 5 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and photos of the issue.
- We will sort it out ASAP (replacement or refund).
