The Hands Behind Pulp & Thread

I'm Willow - the queer, neurodivergent, disabled dyke behind every print and thread you'll find here!

My hope is for Pulp & Thread to be more than just a store - rather a practice in community care. I believe art is (and always has been) resistance, and it shouldn't be a luxury reserved for the few.

My work lives at the intersection of disability justice, queer joy, and the messy work of being alive. For me, crafting is survival and how I process rage, celebrate love, and find my way back to joy.

How I Work

Anti-Waste: I use salvaged, thrifted, or donated materials whenever possible for both the art and the packaging. Plastic-free is the goal, but repurposing is the backup.

Mutual Aid: 50% of sales from our Mutual Aid Collection go directly to supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled folks in our community.

Pricing Accessibility: If the listed price feels out of reach, please reach out via our Contact Form for a private discount code - no questions asked.

Access Menu: Click the icon in the bottom right corner to view our Access Menu, where you can adjust fonts, contrast, or navigation to suit your needs.

A Note On Capacity

I work a full-time job while navigating complex chronic illness and disability. My capacity is limited, but my care is very much infinite. Orders take 5-7 business days to fulfil. Thank you for your patience and for supporting a slow, human-made process!
